As a Manager in the firm’s Individual Tax practice, Eric Boovila is dedicated to providing tax compliance and consulting services to high net worth clients who are primarily employed in the alternative investment space. Eric helps clients address their individual tax, fiduciary tax, gift tax, and private foundation taxation needs.
Prior to joining Untracht Early, Eric was a Tax Manager with a Big Four where, in addition to his client responsibilities, he conducted extensive research to create informative tax case studies for the firm’s internal use. Additionally, he was active in facilitating tax seminars to educate internal professionals on tax technologies and represented the firm’s New York office on a national technology adaptation committee focused on rolling out a proprietary client management tool.
At Untracht Early, Eric assists with the new hire training program and helps guide junior accountants on accounting skills instruction and professional development through the firm’s coaching program.
A graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Eric is licensed as a CPA in both New Jersey and New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has earned a Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification.
