Ryan Brandt joins Untracht Early as a Tax Senior in the Individual Tax Practice. He previously worked as an Accountant at Morris Merker & Co in Totowa, NJ predominantly handling tax responsibilities for high net worth individuals and small businesses. Ryan graduated from Montclair State University and is currently pursuing his Masters in Accounting.
Untracht Early welcomes four new employees into our 2013 entry level class.
Michael Fede graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in Accounting. He previously interned at Samuel Klein and Company, where he engaged in compliance testing for various municipal revenue accounts and performed testing on municipal vouchers, capital bids and quotes. Michael was also a member for the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Beta Gamma Sigma.
Morgan Torres is a graduate of Rowan University with a degree in Accounting. Morgan made the Dean’s List every semester and was a member of both the Accounting Society and the NJSCPA. She previously interned for Northwest Mutual as a Financial Representative where she was a licensed producer for Life and Accident and Health Insurance.
Kris Bachmann graduated from Rowan University with a double major in Accounting and Finance. He interned at Oglivy CommonHealth Worldwide in their Accounting Department where he monitored daily cash balances and cash application. Kris was also an Accounting Clerk at Cossett New York.
Adria Devita interned for Untracht Early and is now a full time staff accountant. She graduated from Loyola University, where she majored in accounting. Adria also interned at MKP Capital Management in their legal department.
For the third consecutive year, Untracht Early has been recognized by INSIDE Public Accounting (IPA) as both a Top 200 Firms and Best of the Best Firms winner. The Top 200 Firms list represents the industry’s definitive “by-revenue” ranking of the largest public accounting firms in the U.S. IPA’s annual Best of the Best award honors 50 CPA firms across the country for their overall superior performance on more than 70 criteria. Winners for both lists were carefully selected from the more than 500 firms which participated in the 23rd IPA Annual Survey and Analysis of Firms in 2013.
Untracht Early welcomes two new accountants, Laurie Martorana and Maria Scala, to the firm.
Laurie Martorana joins Untracht Early as a Staff Accountant in the Tax Department. Laurie previously worked as a Tax Accountant at Cherry Bekaert LLP in Tysons Corner, VA where she prepared tax returns as well as federal and state quarterly estimates and extensions. She received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from West Virginia University.
Maria Scala joins Untracht Early as a Staff Accountant in the Tax Department. Maria previously worked at Cliffside Park Housing Authority as Section Eight Coordinator. She also served as case manager to low income individuals and families. Maria received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business.
